Conference Venue

Conference sessions will be held at the new ‘Gellért Campus’ of the Corvinus University of Budapest (address: 9. Mányoki út, Budapest – ‘út’ meaning ‘road’), which is situated on the Buda side of town in the city centre.

It takes its name from the Gellért Hill on the slopes of which the building is situated and consists of a building with two towers in a green park. The Campus opened during the Spring of 2024 and was built and operates according to the LEED Gold sustainability certification criteria, which is unique in Hungarian higher education. The building’s energy system relies on solar panels and geothermal heat pumps and it has excellent insulation (AA+ energy efficiency certificate). The planning has also made sure to keep light pollution to the minimum necessary.

You can learn more about the Campus here.

The building consists of two towers connected at the lower floors. The ground floor will host the registration desk, the plenary sessions as well as the coffee and lunch breaks, while rooms in Tower J (indicated by dark blue in the figure) will hold the breakout sessions (Tracks). Additionally, some special sessions will be organized in the Rooftop Café in Tower K.

If you stay in one of the recommended hotels or any other hotel in the city centre, then it should take a short, 15-20 walk to get to the conference venue (or even less by public transportation).

The following map shows the Gellért Campus (with red letters) and the main (old) Campus (in green letters) of the Corvinus University of Budapest. The Gala Dinner on the 10th of July will be organised in the Aula of the old building (8 Fővám tér, Budapest).

Both buildings are accessible to the disabled through the main entrance.
