Registration fees
The 2025 Annual Conference of ISDRS in Budapest, Hungary will be organised in a hybrid format: all plenary and track sessions will be offered both on-campus and on-line.
Registration fees for the Conference are displayed below.
According to ISDRS policies, delegates residing and working in a ‘low’, ‘lower-middle’ and ‘upper-middle’ income economy can take benefit of a preferential rate. For the country classification, please, click here.
If you have already paid the individual membership fee for the calendar year 2025 or your institution is a member of ISDRS, then you are eligible for the ‘Member’s Fee’. If you have not paid the membership fee for 2025 yet, then you should register as a non-member and your registration fee will include membership for the calendar year 2025. (Please, note that ISDRS followers, i.e. who participate in social media activity but who have not paid the membership fee for 2025, must select the non-member registration rate.) Visitors with a ‘One day ticket’ may participate in the live discussions and benefit from the platform of the virtual conference but cannot present a paper or a poster at the conference.
Registration to the conference will start on the 7th of April, 2025. The ‘Early bird’ rate will be available till the 7the of May, 2025. Registration to the conference ends on the 15th of June, 2025.

What does the registration fee include?
All items necessary for a successful participation in the conference will be provided upon paying the registration fee except participation at the Conference Gala Dinner on Thursday evening.
Please, note that for environmental reasons no conference package will be provided upon arrival to the conference. Instead, each on-campus participant will receive a ticket to the sustainability fields trips as a present including a selection of walking tours in Budapest.

Conference publications: A Conference Proceedings containing full papers will be published after the Conference. Full papers will be included in the publications only if at least one author has registered and paid the registration fee. One registration (any category) covers a maximum of two abstracts/papers. A separate call for full papers will be issued with a deadline shortly after the Conference.
A cancellation fee of 50% of the applicable registration fee will be applied for conference registrations that are cancelled by the 15th of June, 2025. After this date, no refunds can be issued.
Insurance, including medical cover, travel cover, and other expenses incurred during the event are not covered by the organisers. Please discuss insurance cover with your travel agent when booking your travel.
How to register to the Conference?
Registration to the conference is handled by the Oxford Abstracts platform and will start on the 7th of April, 2025.

Important information:
During the registration process, first, you must choose one of the registration categories – make sure that you read and understand the different categories.
Choose rates for members only if you have individually paid your membership fee for 2025 or your institution is a members of ISDRS. You will need your membership coupon code to register as a member. If your institution is member of ISDRS, obtain your code from your institution or contact us.
If you are a student and would like to take advantage of the respective reduced rates, please, prepare a proof of your status (in pdf format), which you must upload during the registration process.
Payment is through bank transfer. Once registered, an invoice will be generated in the Oxford Abstract system, which you can also send to the financial administration of your institution to arrange payment.
