Preparation for poster presentation
A poster is an alternative to the oral presentation of a paper. The poster allows authors to create a self-explanatory document, but the authors should be available to interact with viewers and answer questions.
Posters allow more time for authors and viewers to discuss the topic, more personal interaction and exchange of professional experience, ample question time with focus on your subject, and the potential for continued display of the poster at your workplace.
For on-campus poster presenters a space on a flat panel will be assigned in the Lobby (just in front of the Registration Desk) of Gellért Campus. Please, visit the Registration Desk on the 8th of July or latest in the morning on the 9th of July and hand over your printed poster so that it can be fixed before the opening of the Poster Session at 12:30, 9th of July.
Please, make sure that you are available for discussion in front of your poster during the poster sessions (see the programme for the times). Only works that have been accepted through the review process can be displayed on-site.
Poster dimensions: A0 (841 x 1189 mm or 33.1 x 46.8 inches) or A1 (594 x 841 mm or 23.4 x 33.1 inches) – portrait format.
All poster authors are responsible to print their own poster and bring it to the conference. (Please note that we CAN’T print your poster at the Conference.)
Please print your poster using sustainable materials: recycled paper or FSC certified paper and vegetable colors.
If you would like to add your poster to the on-line poster session as well, please see instructions for on-line poster presenters below.
Please do not forget to take your poster with you at the end of the Conference.
For on-line poster presenters, please prepare your one page poster in a pdf format and upload it to Oxford Abstracts. To do this, you should log in to your Oxford Abstracts account, click on your submission and edit it: you will find a button where you can upload your poster. For more information on the method, click here.
The on-line poster session will be at 1:30 p.m. on the 10th of July.
